2

Design

A Monte Carlo simulation stress-tests your plan and maps out tax-aware withdrawals.

3

Implement

We execute your plan and schedule regular reviews as life changes.

How We Help

What You Pay

Our fee structure is simple and transparent—no hidden costs or surprise charges.

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to the questions we hear most from prospective clients.

How is my money protected at Charles Schwab?

Schwab is a member of SIPC; if SIPC limits are ever exhausted, Schwab carries excess SIPC coverage (market losses aren't covered). Additionally, as an independent RIA, we never take custody of your assets—Schwab holds them directly in your name. If something were to happen to SG Wealth Managers, you maintain full access to your accounts through Schwab.

What's included in the advisory fee?

Ongoing planning, reviews, Monte Carlo & situational stress tests, tax-aware withdrawal modeling, Social Security/Medicare guidance, and coordination with your attorney/CPA (their services billed separately if engaged). We also provide quarterly portfolio reviews, annual tax-loss harvesting analysis, RMD calculations and management, beneficiary reviews, and unlimited phone/email support.

Do you use mutual funds?

No. We build portfolios with individual stocks & ETFs. Clients pay our advisory fee and ETF expense ratios. This approach eliminates hidden fees like 12b-1 fees and sales loads common in mutual funds. More importantly, you'll know exactly what companies you own, providing transparency and peace of mind during market volatility.

What makes you different from other financial advisors?

Three key differentiators: First, we have an estate planning attorney in our office—not just a referral partner. Second, our advisors work on a salary, not commissions, removing any conflict of interest. Third, we specialize exclusively in retirement distribution planning, not accumulation.

How do you coordinate with my CPA and attorney?

Unlike firms that simply refer you out, we facilitate three-way conversations. When tax planning questions arise, we'll include your CPA (or ours) in the discussion. For estate planning, our in-house attorney can review your existing documents and coordinate with your plan. Everyone stays on the same page, working from the same financial projections.
