Michigan FAQs

Do you meet in Eastern Time?

Yes—our calendar offers ET-friendly slots, plus additional times by request.

Are you allowed to work with Michigan residents?

We only engage clients in jurisdictions where we're properly registered or exempt; we confirm eligibility before entering an advisory relationship.

How is my money protected at Charles Schwab?

Schwab is a member of SIPC; if SIPC limits are ever exhausted, Schwab maintains excess SIPC coverage (aggregate limits apply). Market losses aren't covered.

What's your minimum asset level?

Generally $100,000+ in investable assets to implement diversification and planning depth effectively.

Do you use mutual funds?

No. We build portfolios with individual stocks & ETFs. Clients pay our advisory fee and the underlying ETF expense ratios.

How do you coordinate taxes and estate planning from out of state?

We handle general planning coordination and will loop in your Michigan CPA/attorney as needed. If you engage them for tax prep or legal documents, their fees are separate.

Ready to talk?

Schedule a no-obligation introductory call—we'll meet via video or phone at a time that works for you.
